1/14/2009 FBE Construction Division wins large shotcrete Job 1/14/2009

According to our Minnesota based sales representative, John Anderson, the Fire Brick Construction Division will be mobilizing to a sugar beet manufacture to rebuild a large Belgium Vertical Shaft Kiln. This will be the second project for this customer.  FBC plans to shotcrete Magneco Metrel's Metpump ASX 50 SC.  In order to salvage part of the lining and save the customer both time and capital, FBC plans to tear out only part of the entire lining, scale the rest and then shotcrete a hot face lining over the entire kiln.  The project is estimated to take only 2 days to install the hot face lining, with the allotted time frame by the customer for their planned shutdown.
